Hi Forum members. I hope people on the forum can help. We're looking at some novel and exciting new technology that is intended to help with visual inspections for highways and roads. Couple of questions:

1. Does anyone have an estimate for the average cost per KM for conducting Coarse Visual Inspections on a roads? 
2. How often does a stretch of road get a CVI inspection? Every 6 months? Every year?
3. Do councils generally do CVIs themselves or do they contract the service out to 3rd parties? Any insight on approximately how many councils do it themselves and how many outsource it.
