For those of us in Scotland, can anyone tell me if the old S.O.I.D. Circular 5/93 (Signs to Housing Developments) is still current? I can't seem to find anything else that's superseded it, so I'm assuming so.

I would be very surprised if it had been revised, and there appears to be no guidance on this at all for England and Wales (apart from advice on temporary signs generally).
