Goodbye 2015 TSRGD, hello 2016 TSRGD. It's official now that the new Regs won't be out until next year. And there is a fresh draft to look at as part of a new consultation here: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/traffic-signs-regulations-and-general-directions-2016

DfT are consulting on some minor things, such as brackets on route number road markings, whilst missing some pretty big issues they've never consulted on. But at the end of this document is a general request for feedback on the new format of TSRGD. How long have you got, DfT?!

The consultation response has now been published (reached from the same link as above). All the specific proposals will be adopted as they received overwhelming support. There is no discussion of ideas for reducing sign clutter or feedback on the format of the draft Regs generally - just thanks for the comments and an assurance they they will be looked at.]]> Thu, 23 May 2019 09:31:52 GMT
