Update on the Women's Engineering Society

14 March 2019

The Women’s Engineering Society is inviting nominations for their Top 50 Women in Engineering Awards (WE50).  The awards are a great way to celebrate how valuable apprenticeships can be for both the individuals and the organisations they work in and will hopefully encourage more women to consider choosing an apprenticeship as a route into engineering. Nominations are open until Monday 8 April and entry is via a short form which can be found at the following link: http://www.inwed.org.uk/we50.html

In addition the WES are holding their Centenary Fundraising Dinner on 21st June 2019 in London. Tickets are now on sale and will raise funds for apprentice mentoring as well as celebrating 100 years of WES. Ticket bookings can be made here: https://www.wes.org.uk/events/wes-centenary-dinner
