Managing your email preferences and providing consent

Please take the time to update your preferences.  It  will only take a few minutes to complete and will ensure that you get the full benefit of your IHE membership.

Please note: you can find your email preferences under 'edit' in'Your Profile' section

As you are probably aware, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force this summer. GDPR is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years and will fundamentally reshape the way in which data is handled across every sector, from healthcare to banking. This legislation is having a major impact on the way the IHE interacts with and contacts it's members.

With this in mind all members will now be AUTOMATICALLY OPTED OUT of receiving information via email/post from the IHE and your local IHE branch.  Please note: this excludes items of legitimate interest such as your membership renewal subscription, CPD audit etc.

Please take the time to read the information below regarding opting back in and help support the IHE.

User Consent Collection

On logging into your profile you will now see an overlay notice with a link to our privacy policy.  By agreeing to this you are allowing the IHE to process your profile data and information and agree to the data processing policies of our site.  You must provide consent to allow us to process your data.  This consent is valid for 1 year. If you deny consent you will not be able to log in to the site.

You can revoke consent of your personal data at any time in your profile and will be automatically logged out of the site.

In addition, consent will also be captured on any future event registrations, forms, products and surveys.
