|Managing your email preferences and providing consent|
Please take the time to update your preferences. It will only take a few minutes to complete and will ensure that you get the full benefit of your IHE membership.
As you are probably aware, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force this summer. GDPR is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years and will fundamentally reshape the way in which data is handled across every sector, from healthcare to banking. This legislation is having a major impact on the way the IHE interacts with and contacts it's members.
With this in mind all members will now be AUTOMATICALLY OPTED OUT of receiving information via email/post from the IHE and your local IHE branch. Please note: this excludes items of legitimate interest such as your membership renewal subscription, CPD audit etc.
Please take the time to read the information below regarding opting back in and help support the IHE.
User Consent Collection
You can revoke consent of your personal data at any time in your profile and will be automatically logged out of the site.
In addition, consent will also be captured on any future event registrations, forms, products and surveys.
All members must now OPT IN in order to receive emails from the IHE. These include:
Please note: your information will never be passed on to 3rd parties and is only used within the IHE.
Hard Copy Information
All members must also OPT IN to receive hard copy information from their local branch eg branch newsletters. To enable this please log into your profile and click 'Yes' in the 'I agree to receive hard copy information from my local branch'.
If you wish to stop receiving a hard copy of highways magazine you can OPT OUT in your profile.
We hope you find IHE material of interest to you so don't miss out and opt back in.
